Dclara Medi Spaz opened in 2015 with a clear idea: most beauty spas in Malaysia push too hard. Customers walk in for a facial and walk out with a package they didn’t want. We decided to do the opposite.
Ten years later, we’re still here, in the same shop on Jalan Sultan Alam Shah, with the same approach. Every client gets a one-on-one consultation.Every treatment is recommended based on what your skin actually needs, not what the price list says we should sell. And every visit ends without anyone trying to upgrade you.
That’s why our customers come back. Many have been with us for a decade. They send their friends, their daughters, their mothers. Word of mouth is how we’ve grown, and it’s how we plan to keep growing.

Meet Charlice Tan
Charlice Tan Pau Lin (陈宝玲) has spent over 15 years studying the craft of skincare and aesthetics — long before she opened Dclara. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lincoln University College and a Master’s-level appointment in aesthetic education through Global University for Lifelong Learning, alongside Malaysia’s Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Levels 1, 2, and 3 in Beauty and Aesthetic Services.
Her technical training spans three countries. In Korea, she earned the Medical Skin Care Specialist certification through KPMF (Korea Medical Skin Care Association) and Medians Skin Science Lab, was appointed to the board of the SISA International Beauty Federation, and won 2nd Prize in Skin Care at the 2018 K-Beauty Olympic in Kuala Lumpur. In Taiwan, she received a Special Award at the 2017 World Cup Beauty Contest. Closer to home, she has completed advanced training in face and body mesotherapy through Quarz Global Meso & Beauty Academy, microneedle therapy, microdermabrasion, 3D eyelash extension, and non-surgical aesthetic rejuvenation.
But credentials are only the start. What clients in Banting actually value is how Charlice works: she listens before she treats, she explains what she’s doing and why, and she never recommends anything she wouldn’t try on herself. After more than 15 years in the industry and a decade running Dclara, she’s still in the treatment room — every session, every client, every time.

We’re proud to be a Banting business. Our clients are our neighbours — mothers from Taman Banting Jaya, professionals commuting from Klang, families from Jenjarom and Telok Panglima Garang. We understand the local skin, the local climate, the local rhythms.
At the same time, we bring training and techniques from Korea, Taiwan, and Malaysia’s top aesthetic academies into a small, quiet shop in Banting. You don’t need to drive to KL for proper care. We’re already here.
